We are looking for an organised and people-oriented Human Resources Officer to join our HR & Administration team on a full-time basis. This is an entry-level role that offers a solid introduction to HR while maintaining a strong administrative foundation.
The chosen candidate will support core HR processes such as recruitment administration, employee records management, and training co-ordination, while also contributing to the smooth-running of day-to-day office operations and front-of-house duties.
Key Responsibilities:
The chosen candidate will:
- Assist in the recruitment process, including vacancy administration, interview scheduling, and onboarding documentation
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date personnel files in line with legal requirements and company procedures
- File, retrieve, and manage HR records and correspondence while handling sensitive information with discretion and confidentiality
- Prepare employment contracts and assist with the relevant HR documentation
- Assist and provide general support to the HR function as required.
In addition to HR responsibilities, the role also includes administrative functions including:
- Performing standard office procedures such as processing mail, answering phone calls, and ordering supplies
- Carrying out reception and front-of-house duties when required, ensuring a professional and welcoming environment
- Supporting Health and Safety procedures by recording checks and co-ordinating maintenance
- Co-ordinating the cleaning and messenger teams, and the upkeep of company vehicles
- Processing, administering, and maintaining the department’s petty cash float.
Your Profile:
We’re looking for someone who brings:
- An Advanced Level standard of education (or equivalent);
- A genuine interest in Human Resources and administrative work
- Strong organisational and time-management skills, with the ability to handle multiple priorities;
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, and fluency in written and spoken Maltese and English;
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications;
- A proactive, responsible, and detail-oriented approach to work;
- A professional and friendly approach when interacting with colleagues, visitors, and suppliers;
- An ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information appropriately.
