Job Description

Overview

We are looking to recruit a Claims Support Executive to join our young and dynamic team in the Health Department on a full-time basis. 

This role is ideal for someone who has experience working within a customer service environment and with a medical background.

Main duties will include but are not limited to:

  • Processing medical claims
  • Investigating medical claims
  • Liaising with healthcare providers and other healthcare specialists
  • Handling claims enquiries from customers, branches and intermediaries 
  • Issuing claim payments

Requirements

  • Advanced Level of Education, 
  • Proficient in IT, particularly in Microsoft Office, 
  • Previous experience in customer service, preferably in a healthcare setting, 
  • Fluent in spoken and written English, knowledge of the Maltese language is considered an asset, 
  • Excellent analytical, decision-making, and communication skills, 
  • Ability to handle sensitive information with confidentiality and professionalism, 
  • Ability to work as part of a team or on own initiative.

This role is ideal for someone who is inquisitive, has initiative and likes dealing with people

Preference will be given to candidates who have a qualification in insurance or are in their final stages of obtaining one. A Medical background will be considered an asset.
