The Role
We are looking to recruit a Claims Support Executive to join our young and dynamic team in the Health Department.
This role is ideal for someone who has experience in working within a customer service environment and with a medical background.
Main duties will include but are not limited to:
- Processing medical claims
- Investigating medical claims
- Liaising with healthcare providers and other healthcare specialists
- Handling claims enquiries from customers, branches and intermediaries
- Issuing claim payments
Requirements
- Previous experience in customer service, preferably in a healthcare setting.
- Excellent analytical, decision-making, strong attention to detail and communication skills
- Ability to handle sensitive information with confidentiality and professionalism.
- Ability to work as part of a team or on own initiative.
Education and Experience
- Advanced Level of Education
- IT skills particularly in Microsoft Office
- Fluent in spoken and written English. Knowledge of the Maltese language would be an asset
- Team player with the ability to work independently
This role is ideal for someone who is inquisitive, has initiative and likes dealing with people
Preference will be given to candidates who have a qualification in insurance or are in their final stages of obtaining one. A Medical background will be considered an asset.
