Overview

What we’re looking for

We're hiring a Systems Administrator to support our infrastructure team with system maintenance, server setup (on-premise and cloud), and database tasks. This collaborative role includes on-the-job training and documentation. You don’t need experience in all the areas mentioned below. This is a great opportunity to learn and grow in new technical domains.

Your tasks

1. Database Servers:

  • Follow documentation to install, configure, and maintain databases.
  • Monitor database performance and troubleshoot issues as per guidelines.
  • Manage database backups and follow documented recovery procedures.
  • Explore newer versions of our platforms on the testing environment.

2. Systems Administration:

  • Manage system settings and environments supporting our databases.
  • Implement and manage database mirroring and shadowing.
  • Manage SSL certificates and system access.
  • Provide reports related to system access and database access.
  • Monitor system performance and underlying operating systems.
  • Assist in maintaining company data rooms and branch office infrastructure.
  • Ensure information security across IT infrastructure. 
  • Assist in automating repetitive tasks to improve efficiency.

3. Troubleshooting and Support:

  • Provide technical support for database-related issues.
  • Assist in resolving complex issues, document procedures and configurations.

4. Collaboration:

  • Work closely with the development and infrastructure teams.
  • Participate in team meetings and provide technical expertise.
  • Support daily IT operations.

  1. Having or is currently pursuing a degree in Computer Science or a related field (MQF level 5 or higher).
  2. Having excellent communication skills both written and verbal.

  5. Having a good grasp of Azure platforms.
